The Shelby County Community Theatre continually seeks volunteers for a variety of roles at the theatre. No matter your area of expertise, we can use your help!
While the cast members get a lot of the applause, without the support of a talented stage crew, the high-quality productions audiences have come to expect from SCCT would not happen. Whether you’ve worked a hundred shows or none, we are excited that you’re interested in assisting with a production. Potential areas of involvement include:
Lighting and sound run
Set construction and painting
Stage management
Prop management
Costuming
The first in-person experience a patron has with the Shelby County Community Theatre is often with our courteous, helpful, and welcoming front-of-house volunteers. Volunteering with our front-of-house team is an excellent way to welcome new and returning patrons to SCCT and set the tone for an exceptional theatre experience.
