Cheryl Van Stockum
Executive Director
Cheryl Rankin Van Stockum is grateful and proud to serve SCCT as its Executive Director. A professional photographer and retired RN, Her love of theatre began in high school, yet was not fully realized until many years later when she became part of the family that is The Shelby County Community Theatre. She is honored to work and play alongside talented performers, gifted mentors, and lifelong friends. She has appeared in over 30 SCCT productions. Cheryl and her husband Reggie live on an old family farm in Shelby County. Together they have 4 sons, 6 grandchildren, a lot of cats, a shared loved of travel, the outdoors, adventure and creativity.

Elizabeth Slucher
Office Administrator
A lifelong resident of Shelby County, Elizabeth Slucher has been involved with SCCT for 23 years and has been the Office Administrator for 14 years. She lives in Bagdad, KY, with her husband, Ken. She has two grown sons, Scott and Alex, who have both been involved with several SCCT productions in the past.
First SCCT Show
The first show I appeared in at SCCT was BYE BYE BIRDIE in 1995, where I played the parent of a teenager in spite of having a one-year-old son at home.

Ann Igleheart Tipton
Treasurer
Ann Tipton currently serves as Treasurer on the SCCT board of directors, and is a past President of the board. She is retired, after spending more than 30 years in real estate development and property management. She and her husband Mike live in Shelbyville, and enjoy travel and spending time with their children and grandchildren.

My first show with SCCT was Fiddler on the Roof in 1980. I played the role of Grandma Tzeitel.

George Robert Bailey
George Robert Bailey has been on the SCCT board of directors since 2019. He has directed and acted in numerous shows both upstairs and down on the main stage. He holds an MFA in Directing Theatre from the University of Alabama. He is retired from a career as an actuary and a software engineer. Currently, he lives in Prospect, Kentucky on the banks of the Ohio River.

Cindy Diemond
Cindy Diemond is originally from Michigan, but moved to Kentucky to attend Western Kentucky University and loved it so much, she never left! Cindy worked professionally as a bookkeeper for more than 20 years and is married to Bob Diemond, and the two have lived in Shelby County for more than 25 years.

MaryAnn Gramig
MaryAnn Gramig is honored to return to the board of directors of SCCT. She has been part of the acting company since 2011 and is a previous board member. She is an executive leadership coach and the CEO of AuthenticA Coaching & Consulting.

Linda Hettinger
Linda Hettinger has served on the board of directors since 2017. She is an artist & graphic designer and designs all print media for SCCT. Linda has worked as a box office volunteer, set painter and stage manager for SCCT since moving to Shelbyville from Florida in 2015.

Jeanette Hicks
Jeanette is the office manager at a small CPA firm. Having studied theater at the University of Louisville, she performed with several companies throughout Louisville before moving to Shelbyville and becoming a part of SCCT. Jeanette is also a vocalist, having sung with several church choirs over the years. She has been a board member since 2019.

Youth Representative
Geena Shepard is serving her first year as a youth representative on the SCCT board of directors. She is an upcoming junior at Shelby County Highschool and is currently working as a pharmacy technician.

Trent Smith
Youth Representative
Trent Smith an upcoming Junior at Martha Layne Collins High School, he is a member of the Varsity baseball team, and part of the Chamber Choir. This is his first year being a youth representative for the SCCT board of directors. He has lived in Shelbyville his whole life, and been acting/helping out at the SCCT since 2015, and his favorite role was being Shrek in Shrek the Musical Jr.

David Cook
Vice President
David Cook is returning to the SCCT board after having initially served from 2016-2019 and as President from 2018-2019. He is a regular performer and volunteer at SCCT and has lived in Shelbyville since 2010. He is Director of Innovative Learning at the Kentucky Department of Education.

Mason Warren
Secretary
Mason Warren is continuing his service on the Shelby County Community Theatre board after serving from 2015-2018, 2019-2020, and again since 2022. During the day, he is the Marketing & Public Relations Director at ShelbyKY Tourism and has previously served as the marketing platform chair at SCCT. He is also the president of a boutique marketing and advertising firm, Parker Creative.
