Acting for Teens | SCCT Academy

This six-week class for ages 13-17 will meet on Saturdays beginning November 2 from 10:00 to 2:00. It will provide a sampling of different approaches to acting and actor training, touching on modern realism, theatre games/improv, and some Shakespeare as well as focusing on scene work between actors. Classes will include additional weekly sessions with the instructor as individuals or with scene partners to better explore their characters and dive deeper into their dialogue. Students will perform scenes and monologues during a presentational showcase on December 8th at 2:00pm at SCCT. The showcase is open to the public at no charge. The class will be taught by Clint Gill.
